Medical Insurance

  • Medical, Dental and Vision
    You pay one amount for all three plans and coverage starts when you do. As well as a Premier Delta Dental Plan and a PPO Vision Service Plan, you'll have three medical plans to choose from. Each plan also covers your eligible dependents, including spouses, domestic partners and children (biological, step, foster, adopted or legal charge) up to age 26.
  • Short-Term Disability
    After an eight-day waiting period, you'll get 66.6% of your monthly salary up to a maximum weekly benefit of $3,462 for up to 12 weeks.
  • Long-Term Disability
    If you’re disabled for more than 12 weeks, you’ll get 66.6% of your monthly salary up to a maximum of $15,000 a month until you reach 65.
  • Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment
    This plan, which we pay for, offers a benefit that’s twice your annual salary up to a maximum of $500,000.
  • Long-Term Care Insurance
    We pay for this plan, which offers $3,000 a month for up to three years.
  • Health Advocate Services
    These highly personalized services, entirely funded by us, help you navigate the complexities of healthcare and insurance issues that may affect you or your family.
  • Voluntary Products
    If you want added protection, take advantage of Universal Life, Spouse, Dependent, Legal and Pet Insurance at a discounted rate.

Investments and savings

  • 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

    You can take part in the 401(k) from the date you join and can make pre-tax and/or post-tax contributions from 1% to 100% of salary, up to the maximum annual state limit. We'll match up to 50% of the first $12,000 you contribute and all contributions vest immediately.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan

    Allocate up to 15% of your after-tax earnings to buy InterMune stock at 85% of its fair market value during certain times of the year.
  • Stock Options

    You have the right to vest into – or own – our stock once you've worked for us for a year.
  • Tuition Reimbursement Program

    If you've been with us for six months or more, and you successfully complete a career-related course, we'll reimburse 100% of the costs up to $2,500 per calendar year for tuition, books and lab fees.

Time off

  • Vacation
    You can take up to 17 days' vacation a year, and up to 22 days after five years' service.
  • Sick Leave
    If you work for us full-time, we allow you 10 sick days a year.
  • Holidays
    We give nine paid holidays each year.
